Calgary details coming soon.
Proceeds are shared between the Veterans Association Food Bank and a local or regional partner in each host community — in Grande Prairie, that’s Veterans Memorial Gardens & Interpretive Centre.
How Operation Royal Flush Works
Each shooter steps up to the poker target with seven shots and a strategy. The target features playing cards, so shooters choose which cards to pursue and build the strongest possible poker hand from their best five valid card hits.
The strongest poker hand of the evening wins the $1,000 Cash Grand Prize, funded by our Poker Hand Cash Grand Prize Sponsor. If leading hands are tied, tied shooters advance to a shoot-off to determine the champion. We’ll also recognize the Top Shot (closest to centre) and the good-natured Worst Shooter Award, both with sponsored prizes.
Event Format
| $100 — Mission Kit, First Hand | Range Pass, Safety Equipment, Poker Card Target, 7 Rounds and Field Mess Access |
| $50 — Redeployment, Second Hand | Fresh Target, 7 Rounds |
| $20 — Top Shot Challenge | Closest to the Centre Wins |
